Web development is an exciting and interesting field. I have experience with many of the tools, languages and technologies used to develop content for the web. I have really enjoyed creating this website and I have had the chance to learn some interesting techniques for creating dynamic web content. I could definitely see myself working more closely with the web in future roles.
Most of the examples I have to show for Web Development are quite old. In fact they are probably causing more embarrassment than good. They do however, show that I have a firm understanding of (and prior experience with) technology as it relates to the web.
timZapart.com (2005)

Tools: Developed primarily with XHTML this site uses, CSS and PHP with a mySQL backend to deliver content. Some basic flash elements have been included, but this site serves more as a representation of a traditional informational site as apposed to a Flash based folio.
Zapart Family Portal (2005)

Description: Also inspired by my move to Norway, this site serves as a private portal for myself and relations to communicate regardless of the distance between us.
Tools: This site is also based on XHTML and styled with CSS. PHP scripting and a mySQL backend are used to deliver content, search capabilities and a forum for communication. HTTP and database authentication has been implemented to provide a secure environment.
